How are auction prices set?
Sellers set a reserve price (the minimum they will accept). Bidding starts at or below the reserve. The auction ends when the timer expires or, for some lots, when a Buy Now price is met. All prices are displayed in both cryptocurrency and fiat equivalent.
What happens if the Bitcoin price moves during an auction?
Bids are placed in Bitcoin. The fiat equivalent displayed is indicative based on the current exchange rate at the time of bidding. Settlement is in Bitcoin at the amount bid, regardless of subsequent price movements.
